Indiana University Northwest (IU Northwest) is a regional university campus in the Indiana University system in Gary, Indiana, USA, established in 1963.
§Courses
IU Northwest is located on a 36-acre (14.57 ha) campus in the northwest corner of the state. There are off-campus instructional sites in Portage and at the Academic Learning Center. Class sizes average 30 students, and the faculty-student ratio is 1 to 14.
Programs, part- and full-time, are taught during days, evenings, and weekends, and lead to certificates and associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. There are more than 180 full-time and more than 100 part-time faculty, more than 80% of whom have doctorates or the highest degree available in their field.
There is a network of 22,000 alumni.

In the fall of 2013, 6,387 students were enrolled at IU Northwest. Of that:
- 92% undergraduates and 8% graduate students
- 67% full-time students and 33% part-time students
- 67% women and 33% men
- 99% residents of Northwest Indiana
- 55% Caucasian, 22% African-American, 17% Hispanic students, 2% Asian and 0.2% Native American
§Financial aid
US$27.5 million is awarded to IU Northwest students annually. 73% of IU Northwest students receive financial aid
§Athletics
IU-Northwest teams are known as the RedHawks. The university competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as an Independent member in the Association of Independent Institutions (AII). Men's sports include basketball; while women's sports include basketball and volleyball.
